Since 2008, we have provided a full range of psychiatric services at CCRMC including Inpatient, PES, Consult Liaison, Detention Facility, and Outpatient Behavioral Health.

Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Families - Camarillo, CA

Casa Pacifica has been a leading provider of children’s mental health services since 1994. At Casa Pacifica, we follow a relationship-based approach to supporting and serving youth and their families. We meet people where they are, and through the development of connected relationships, guide them in building on strengths and meeting their needs. Casa Pacifica offers numerous programs and levels of care for adolescents ages 12 – 17. This position will support four of Casa Pacifica’s programs. Specifically, Camino a Casa, a private insurance residential program with maximum bed capacity of 25 with average lengths of stay 4 to 8 weeks. A Short-Term Residential Treatment Program with maximum bed capacity of 14 and an average length of stay of 6 to 12 weeks. A Partial Hospitalization Program as an alternative to residential and inpatient treatment with an average length of stay of 6 to 8 weeks. And an Education Cottage with a maximum bed capacity of 16 with lengths of stay 6 to 9 months. Individualized treatment programs are tailored to each child’s needs and supported by multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified professionals including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, licensed vocational nurses, academic facilitator and educators, recreational therapists, and youth development specialists. All our programs fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation and the Association of Children’s Residential Centers.  California Department of Education, California Department of Health Care Services, and the California Department of Social Services license/certify Casa Pacifica’s programs.

• No evening or weekend call
• Patient specific follow-up conversations with clinicians; and rounding with nurses as needed
• Nursing support available during clinic hours to assist with medi-sets and monitoring high risk patients
• Monday - Friday RN coverage 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and LVNs coverage until 9:00 PM. Sat/Sun LVN coverage 9 AM - 1 PM and 4 PM - 9 PM
• Staff includes multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified professionals, including psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, academic facilitator and educators, recreational therapists, and youth development specialists
• Requirement of 3 years working at or in a psychiatric facility or department

Butte County Dept Of Behavioral Health Psychiatric Health provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. The Facility is an inpatient mental health facility in Chico, CA, located at 592 Rio Lindo Avenue, 95926. Outpatient services are offered in several locations in Butte County, serving children, youth, and adults with serious mental illness and substance use Disorders. Services include Psychotropic medication, Cognitive behavioral therapy and Group therapy. It specializes in treatment of Seniors 65 or older, Young Adults and Adults. Services also supports persons with serious mental illness including housing services, Diet and exercise counseling and Suicide prevention services.

The Ventura County Behavioral Health Department (VCBH) provides mental health and substance use treatment services. VCBH plays an important role as an integrated component of the Ventura County Health Care Agency. VCBH provides support for individuals and families who are in crisis; people considering suicide; or those struggling with mental illness, substance use, or both. Ventura County Behavioral Health is committed to reducing stigma and discrimination. Napa County Health and Human Services Behavioral Health Division is county based and offers a variety of programs including child and adult mental health, substance abuse, and a community engagement. They seek to build and sustain a partnership culture that empowers clients, families, and community-based organizations. 

Outpatient Services 

• Child & Adolescent services in the medication clinics

• Coverage is Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM 

• 40 hours of coverage per week

• Child/Adolescent: 90 minutes for initial evaluations, 45 minutes for follow up

• No evening or weekend call

• Specialized programs: Substance abuse 

• Volume of 6-8 patients per day, Average of 1-5 intakes per week

• Attend clinical and divisional team meetings

• X Waivered physician who can prescribe Buprenorphine/Suboxone and has a sub-specialty in Addiction Medicine

THE AREA

• Napa County is north of San Francisco, in California. It's known for hundreds of hillside vineyards in the Napa Valley wine region. In the city of Napa, Oxbow Public Market features regional gourmet food. The Napa Valley Wine Train is a vintage locomotive and traveling restaurant running through the valley. Northwest of Napa is Yountville, a town known for high-end restaurants and sparkling wine. Napa Valley is widely considered one of the top American Viticultural Areas in California, and all of the United States, with a history dating back to the early nineteenth century. By the end of the nineteenth century, there were more than 140 wineries in the area. Several still exist in the valley including Charles Krug Winery, Schramsberg, Chateau Montelena, Nichelini and Beringer. Napa County hosts numerous cultural events throughout the year. The county fair takes place annually in early July at the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga.
