Madera County Services - Madera, CA 

The Madera County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) protects the health of our community by preventing disease and promoting health equity. They offer mental health and alcohol and drug services for all ages through education, prevention, early intervention, crisis services, assessments, case management, medication services, psychiatric evaluations, peer services, and outpatient therapy. Individual, group, and family services are provided by amazing and compassionate professionals that are competent, qualified, and bilingual. 

Medical Director

• 20-hours per week
• Supervises day-to-day clinical operations and medical staff.
• Provides psychiatric services for dually diagnosed clients. Responsible for all those acts of diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing or ordering of medications which may only be performed by a Licensed Physician.
• Provides medical care and services to Madera County Department of Behavioral Health (MCDBHS) clients as authorized by the Business & Professions Code section 2051.
• Conducts psychiatric assessments, performs mental status examinations, and formulate diagnoses of clients being treated.
• Refers clients to appropriate sources of treatment.
• Participates in treatment planning and case conferences.
• Provides integrated medication support services of co-occurring mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) in accordance with Madera County Mental Health Plan (MHP) specialty mental health services requirements and documentations standards.
• Ensures continuity in medication support services until client is linked with an appropriate service.
• Provides psychiatric testimony in Court when and where necessary
• Completes medical record documentation as required by the MCDBHS’ Policy and Procedures.
• MCDBHS has an electronic health record (EHR). MCDBHS is responsible for training contracted staff and providing a reasonable level of support for the EHR. Contracted staff are responsible for being proficient in working in the EHR.
• Actively participates in quality management and utilization review committees.
• Chairs the Medication Monitoring Committee.
• Assists with the development of policies regarding medication procedures & medication monitoring
• Provides training on psychotropic medications or provides evidence-based practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Laurel Life offers innovative, collaborative behavioral health services to support the community’s needs. Our clinical team has a unique understanding of how trauma impacts brain development and prioritizes the use of evidence-based practices within our treatment approach.  Laurel Life uses individualized programs to support children, youth, and young adults creating a safe and welcoming environment to help them build coping skills to be successful in their natural environment. Laurel Life provides physician support and assistance within the outpatient setting.

• Chambersburg’s theme is “a clean, green, safe, and healthy community.” Chambersburg is a borough in and the county seat of Franklin County, in the South-Central region of Pennsylvania. It is in the Cumberland Valley, which is part of the Great Appalachian Valley. It also sits right outside of Caledonia State Park, a 1,125-acre park with fishing and hunting areas and hiking trails, including a section of the Appalachian Trail. The surrounding area has a large farming population, including many Amish and Mennonite families.
• York is a city in southern Pennsylvania. Downtown, the Historical Society Museum displays fine art, furniture and tall-case clocks. Nearby is the Victorian-era Bonham House. Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is a full service county hospital and offers a complete array of patient-centered health care services delivered in a beautiful facility. Since 2008, we have provided a full range of psychiatric services at CCRMC including Inpatient, PES, Consult Liaison, Detention Facility, and Outpatient Behavioral Health.

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital - Santa Barbara, CA 

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is a non-profit, 519-bed acute care teaching hospital and trauma center. It is the largest of its kind between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. The hospital was founded in 1888 by 50 women determined to provide a healthcare facility for the growing community of Santa Barbara. We offer a comprehensive range of services to best suit our patients' needs and circumstances, including acute inpatient psychiatry and detoxification; residential alcohol, drug, and co-occurring disorders; rehabilitation; and several levels of outpatient treatment services in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Our approach to care is integrative, family-oriented, and culturally sensitive. Treatment plans support each person's specific needs and include treatment modalities for dual diagnosis to address those with both psychiatric and chemical dependency needs.

TBH supports Glenn County Behavioral Health with Adult and Child & Adolescent physicians to address the needs of their patients.

• Glenn County is located in the United States about half way between Sacramento and Redding in Northern California. Butte County Dept Of Behavioral Health Psychiatric Health provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. The Facility is an inpatient mental health facility in Chico, CA, located at 592 Rio Lindo Avenue, 95926. Outpatient services are offered in several locations in Butte County, serving children, youth, and adults with serious mental illness and substance use Disorders. Services include Psychotropic medication, Cognitive behavioral therapy and Group therapy. It specializes in treatment of Seniors 65 or older, Young Adults and Adults. Services also supports persons with serious mental illness including housing services, Diet and exercise counseling and Suicide prevention services.

Their county services provide treatment to address their residents’ mental health systems, arranging follow-up quality care, and a referral network of resources. TBH supports Humboldt County Behavioral Health with Adult and Child & Adolescent physicians to address the needs of their patients.
